IUMI's Working Statement:
IUMI is not a decision-making body, nor is it involved in the formulation of rating schedules, clauses or conditions. Rather it is a forum to exchange experience, information and statistical data on marine insurance matters; to discuss legislative issues, loss prevention and safety measures; to debate, in an objective and conducive way, the challenges and opportunities facing marine insurers.
